What do you want to achieve?

Part 1 in a series – How a journey of self discovery led to positive change

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing themselves” (Leo Tolstoy)

My passion as a trainer is seeing the amazing results achieved by my participants, professionally and personally, as they go through our development programmes.  It is inspiring to touch lives through our content, approach and experiences. I constantly repeat in the training room that “only actions generate results”. However, do I walk the walk?  Many areas have become good habits over the years. However, when I looked at myself honestly, there were several places where I let myself off the hook.

I have experienced a tumultuous 24 months professionally that resulted in leaving a business I loved.  Throughout this rollercoaster, consciously applying the learnings I share with my participants has resulted in finding out a lot about myself and in significant personal growth.

I am immensely proud to have been a part of setting up our own business – Hansen Beck – with a great group of like-minded colleagues. I never thought I would have the courage or ability to do this.

I will share over a number of articles, some short learnings with you from the expedition I took.  Hopefully, some of these will touch a chord with you. I am inspired and excited about the opportunities we have created for the next 10 years and beyond.  If anything I share helps you to define your future, that would be even better.

Call to action:  Start with yourself.  Be the authentic you that you want to present to the world.
